Why should you read our policy?
Are you browsing our website, signing up for one of our training courses, or subscribing to our newsletter? By interacting with us online, you authorize us to collect certain information about you. (Not too much, we promise!)
Please take a few minutes to read about what information we collect about you and why, in the following situations.

We use web analytics tools to determine how to improve the quality of our website and evaluate the success of our promotional campaigns. To do this, we work with Squarespace (which hosts our website), and Google Analytics.
These partners collect:
Your IP address and the pages you view,

We can see the IP addresses of visitors to our website. However, other information is aggregated with that of other users. We have access to it only in anonymous form.

Our newsletter is hosted by MailChimp, which collects:
Your first and last name
Your email address
The city where you are located at the time of registration.
Your IP address and operating system (e.g., Windows, Linux).
Your interactions with our newsletters. For example, whether you open them and whether you click on the links inside them.
We need this information to:
Send you our newsletter, which may include content related to our areas of expertise and promotional offers
Finding out what interests our subscribers
Evaluate the effectiveness of our promotional campaigns
We can access this information, which is stored by MailChimp. We never share it with other individuals or companies.
You can unsubscribe at any time by clicking “unsubscribe” at the bottom of our newsletter. You can also ask us to delete your profile at any time by writing to us at confidentialite@enclair.ca

Registration is handled through our Training Center, which is hosted on the Didacte platform. To create an account and register for a training course, you’ll need to provide some information. Here’s what we need.
Your first and last name, your email address, your country, and your state or province of residence
This information is collected for the following purposes:
Create Your User Account
Log in when accessing the training center
Send you information about your training courses (reminders and links to log in to the training)
Subscribe to our newsletter
We have access to this information. Didacte sends your email address, last name, and first name to Zapier, which in turn sends them to MailChimp.
Name and address of your organization
This information is collected for the following purposes:
Develop a service proposal for a group
Generate an invoice in your organization's name
Tailor the training content to your work environment
We have access to this information.
Billing address, credit card information
This information is collected to process your payment.
We have access to this information (for credit cards, we only see the last 4 digits).
Didacte forwards this information to the payment service Stripe. Didacte has its own privacy practices and policies. Please review the privacy policy .

Like any social media user, we can see who follows our pages En Clair and how users interact with our posts.
In particular, we have access to subscribers’ last names, first names, and profiles, as well as “likes,” comments, and shares, and the number of views a post has received (on Twitter and LinkedIn).
If you visit our website from one of our social media posts, please be aware that we use certain trackers to:
Find out which social media posts perform best.
Evaluate the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns.
Facebook, LinkedIn and Twitter have their own privacy policies. We encourage you to read them, even though they’re very long!

Your information helps us understand your question or need, and allows us to contact you to address it.
Are you contacting us through the contact form on our website or through the Microsoft Bookings appointment scheduling platform? We collect your name, email address, and phone number, if you choose to provide it.
Are you choosing to sign up via email? We collect your email address and the information you provide.

From time to time, we recruit people to participate in tests, surveys, or interviews as part of our simplification projects. If you apply to participate, we will collect:
information to identify you and contact you (your name, email address, and any other contact information you agree to provide us),
any other information that allows us to verify whether you meet the criteria for the test.
Partners or subcontractors who assist us in conducting the tests have access to this information.

Applying for a job at En Clair typically involves submitting a resume and a cover letter, which may include your name, address, phone number, email address, and other personal information.
We need it for:

Check to see if your profile matches the one we're looking for
Check Your Criminal Record
To communicate with you as part of the hiring process
Hire you, if applicable
We will not disclose your information to anyone.
How We Store Your Personal Information
Your personal information is stored in Canada, or in the United States when it is used by service providers located in the United States (e.g., Google, Mailchimp).
How long do we keep them?
We retain your information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it. We then take reasonable steps to destroy your personal information.
However, the law mandates retention periods for certain types of information, particularly with regard to taxes. Here are a few examples:
Payment and billing information (e.g., billing address, name)
7 years, in accordance with tax laws
Information related to our newsletter ( e.g., last name, first name, email address)
For as long as you wish to receive our newsletter, and no later than 2 years after you unsubscribe
Information Regarding Training Sessions and Webinars
3 years after the training session or webinar took place, or after our last interaction with you
Once the purposes for which we collected your personal information have been fulfilled, we take reasonable steps to destroy it.
We take the following steps to keep your personal information secure
Our electronic devices are protected by passwords, and our internet network is protected by a firewall.
We enter into confidentiality agreements with our subcontractors.
We have developed an information security policy that all our employees must follow.
We choose reputable and trustworthy service providers.
Our employees have access to your information only for one of the reasons described in the policy
We do not use them for any other purposes. We also do not sell your information.
Your Rights and Choices
You can request to review the personal information we have about you by writing to us at confidentialite@enclair.ca.
You may also ask us to correct the information we have about you if it is inaccurate or out of date.
You may withdraw your consent to our use of your personal information. To do so, please email us at confidentialite@enclair.ca.
You can disable non-essential cookies when you browse our website. See the section “When You Browse Our Website” for more information.
We may change this policy
We may modify this privacy policy. If we do so, we will post a notice on our website. The updated version of the policy will take effect as of the date of publication.
