The Quebec Legal Information Society (SOQUIJ), a government agency whose mission is to provide legal information to the general public and legal professionals.
SOQUIJ has commissioned En Clair to develop its JuridiQC website. Launched in 2020, this website provides citizens with a tool that allows them to independently prepare legal procedures online.
Our Mission
Simplify the Privacy Policy and Terms of Use for the JuridiQC website. A text-only version, without images.
Results?
The word count of the policy has been reduced by almost half!
A simple, concise, and easy-to-read policy… that also complies with the law. (The simplified version has been reviewed and approved by an attorney specializing in personal information.)
Clear and Specific Headings
We wanted citizens to be able to pick out the key messages at a glance. How?
We have clarified the headings by using concrete, everyday words that the public can understand.
We have created section headings in the form of questions, as well as subsection headings that highlight key messages.
